Out of Bounds

I've seen others do 'out of bounds' images but this is the first time I've tried it.


So here is Josh going ...out of bounds.

Self Portrait...of a self portrait.

This is the first (and probably the last) time I have done a self portrait.
Was challenged to do one for a competition and here's the result.

Some of you are probably saying "double trouble"!

We had to show our "very self", so here I am either with a camera in hand or relaxing with photography mag, cuppa and box of chocolates!


For the photographers:

Set up: 2 images taken with self timer and combined using mask layers in PS.

Lighting: Snooted 580Ex flash (using my trusty 'Pringle' snoot), fired off camera and a few reflectors. The light source for each photo is masked by the other photo so not seen in the final combo.
Canon 7D, 1/200s, f/8.0 at 17.0mm, iso100



Very difficult model to work with and the photographer wasn't much better either :o)

Pouring Wine

A sequence of still photos made into a short video. Taken at high speed continuous on my Canon 7D.

Lighting - continuous lamp with 23W spot light (old equiv 120W)
Set up - lamp behind subject shooting through diffusion panel.
Camera settings - f8, 1/1000sec, iso 800.

Well I did say it was short :o)
